Weekend Miracles Virtual Q&A Event – More Fun!
Last week, Kidsave hosted yet another successful Weekend Miracles Zoom event with families and our Los Angeles foster youth. Three Weekend Miracles kids: JJ (16), Markus (16), and Amunique (14), met with Kate and Brian, Amber and Ryan, and Tanya and Tim, and Tracy. During the virtual event, the group played three rounds of games where Kidsave staff gave the families and kids a set of questions to answer.
Here are some fun facts the group learned from each other!
JJ is a sweet and soft-spoken young lady who is both intelligent as she is insightful. She expressed her desire to attend UCLA to become a physician! Like many young ladies, JJ enjoys music like hip-hop, and fashion, especially when it comes to shoes!
During the event, Markus passionately advocated for himself and expressed that he wants to join the Army when he gets older. He would love to find a Military family that can help guide him in his career path.
Amunique is new to the Kidsave’s Weekend Miracles program. Amunique loves music, especially her favorite musician, Young Fly, who performs on Wild n’ Out. Amunique loves to draw, especially her favorite genre, Anime and showed off her talent by sharing with the group.
We love hosting virtual events with our foster youth and getting the chance to see all the smiling faces from the kids and families. Learn more about our Weekend Miracles Program here.
Kidsave will continue hosting our virtual events to help our foster youth stay in the spotlight. We learn so much about our wonderful and talented kids during these events and work hard to connect them with families.
