The Summer Miracles kids from Colombia have been in the U.S. for two weeks, enjoying their summer experiences with families around the country. These kids need adoptive families, and they are only here until August 1 – so schedule a call with us right away to meet them!

Kidsave at BMO Stadium: A Day of Fun, Soccer, and New Connections

In Los Angeles, the kids and their host families attended a Los Angeles Football Club soccer match at BMO Stadium. The day began with a heartwarming “meet and greet” reception at the View Park home of one of our host families. People came from near and far, some traveling from out of state, to meet the children who need adoptive families. The sunny afternoon was filled with laughter, card games, and the start of meaningful connections.

After the meet and greet, everyone headed to BMO Stadium for the LAFC vs. Columbus Crew soccer game. The front of the stadium buzzed with excitement as Kidsave alumni, including Aura and Sebastian, who found their forever families through Summer Miracles, joined the mini-reunion with their families alongside them.

Soon, it was time for everyone to find their seats and enjoy the game. For many kids, it was their first time experiencing a professional soccer game. As many of the kids are avid soccer fans, they were captivated by the high-energy atmosphere and the skillful play on the field.

The day reached its peak after the match when the kids were invited onto the field to meet some of the LAFC players. Their eyes sparkled with joy as the players signed their shoes and scarves and posed with them for photos.

Kidsave’s Los Angeles Summer Miracles event was more than just a day at the stadium; it was a celebration of hope, connection, and the possibility of new families being formed.

These incredible kids are only here for a few more weeks, but there’s still time to meet them and learn more about adoption. Book a call with our team today to learn more!

Summer Miracles Across the USA

More Summer Miracles kids are staying with hosts in Chicago, Florida, San Francisco, Colorado, and other U.S. locations. Contact us to join an event or meet one of the kids near you! Here are some heartwarming updates from a few of our hosts:

Denisha, hosting Ivy and Miley in New York

“Ivy and Miley are two amazing young girls, and we are delighted to have them spend this time with our family. Since the day they arrived, they have developed a sweet, joyful relationship with my two children. They tell stories, play games, and enjoy spending time together.

I love listening to them talk in Spanish and appreciate how much they enjoy each other’s company. Ivy and Miley regularly volunteer to help me cook, and I’ve even learned a few cooking techniques from Miley. They are very communicative and can clearly express their wants. They are also funny and great storytellers.”

Winter, hosting Nicolle in New York

“We are having an amazing time with our host child, Nicolle. We attended a Long Island Ducks game which was her first American baseball game and her first time seeing fireworks in person after the game. We also took her to Mystic in Connecticut, and she enjoyed the ferry ride over.

She just fits right in–even my most timid cat, who hides from everyone, has approached her for pets. It feels natural, and I am grateful for the opportunity provided by Kidsave.”

About Summer Miracles

Our Summer Miracles program gives older orphans who are overseas a chance at a family. The Summer Miracles program provides older kids with no possibility of reunification – and little likelihood of adoption in their home country because of their age – the opportunity to stay in the U.S. for five weeks in the summer (three weeks in the winter). While here, the kids stay with host families, learn about American culture, create lifelong memories, and connect with potential forever families. Book a call with our team to learn more.
