This National Adoption Month, it’s time to for all of us to step up and make a difference for older kids in foster care.
HERE ARE SOME FACTS TO KNOW:

Right now, there are over 108,000 kids in foster care waiting to be adopted.

The average age a child is adopted from foster care is 6.

Over half of the kids in foster care waiting to be adopted are age 7 and older.

Of the kids waiting to be adopted, most have spent at least 3 years in foster care.

In 2023, over 18,500 kids aged out of foster care without a family or support system.
