Kidsave Welcomes Mark Green to its Board of Trustees
Los Angeles, CA–Kidsave is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Green to its Board of Trustees. Green is an accomplished global leader providing CEO and CFO advisory services, helping businesses address difficult challenges and pursue valuable opportunities. His services include M&A, Process Improvement, Management Consulting, Strategy Development and Execution, Coaching, and other Business Consulting services. Green is also President of Financial Executives International, Los Angeles.
Green has been involved with Kidsave for over seven years as an active volunteer. An avid hiker himself, Green created a hiking event in 2015 to raise funds for Kidsave, create connections between Kidsave and the community, give older foster youth an outdoor experience, and introduce them to hiking. In the years since, this event has grown into a national, annual fundraiser known as “Hike With Your Heart.”
Kidsave Co-Founder and CEO Randi Thompson said, “Mark has been a big part of the Kidsave family for many years. With his help and leadership, Hike With Your Heart has grown tremendously over the last seven years, and we know he will bring his experience and love for Kidsave to every task as he joins our Board of Trustees.”
When asked about his decision to join the Board leadership, Green said, “After hearing one of the Kidsave kids tell her story and the impact Kidsave had on her life, I was inspired to volunteer. This inspiration led me to create Hike With Your Heart–an event where we bring the community and Kidsave together on a wonderful hike, building connections and helping to raise funds for Kidsave. I have seen the real difference that Kidsave makes in the lives of older kids in foster care, and it is my honor to join the Board of Kidsave and continue to help them succeed in new ways.”
Green received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge, and his Master of Business Taxation (MBT) from the University of Southern California.
