Catonsville family hosts Colombian orphan in hopes of finding him a forever home
It’s part of a nonprofit program that helps older orphans find families. Local families act as hosts for the international orphans in hopes of adopting them or connecting them with a family who wants to adopt.
The Yinglings are one of those families. Valerie and Joe have been considering the Kidsave program for years.
“We got the good news that we were approved by the country of Colombia and we could host this summer,” Valerie Yingling explained.
