Kidsave is pleased to announce that strategic advisory boutique Vicente & Partners will make a significant donation to support its Ukraine operations, including the new Kidsave Miracles Center which opened to children in July. Located in the Carpathian mountains, the Center is a respite for children orphaned or torn away from their families during the war, providing war trauma therapy and a place for connection with potential adoptive families.
Vicente & Partners (“V&P”) is a discrete strategic advisory boutique, exclusively focused on advising companies in the Consumer Goods sector. The multi-year partnership with V&P will also allow Kidsave to continue its lifesaving humanitarian work in war-torn areas of Ukraine, where volunteers and staff deliver food, medical supplies, and equipment in frontline settlements.
Alejandro Vicente, one of the Founding partners, says “At V&P, we all recognize how fortunate we are in our lives and each of us are very determined to give back—this is one of the core values at V&P.” Michelle Garcia, partner at V&P, adds “We are a different advisory firm in many ways, and one of them is that we allocate a certain percentage of our revenues (not profit) for charitable causes.”
“When we started the company, we were determined to support organizations that are making a significant impact with their good works,” says Lidiia Gaiduk, partner at V&P. “We strongly believe that every child deserves to have a safe environment to grow and be healthy. As a result, we were immediately drawn to Kidsave because of its remarkable success at helping children find families, while also sustaining a network of volunteers assisting the most vulnerable people, including in the frontline areas in Ukraine. We believe that through this partnership with Kidsave we have the potential to make an impact by helping save lives and providing a safe environment for children.”
While V&P will provide funding to support Kidsave’s efforts in Ukraine, its intent is to also help to increase Kidsave’s impact and visibility internationally. “We are thrilled to partner with a firm that recognizes that the work of helping children find and grow up in families is an ongoing issue that must be a priority for business,” says Randi Thompson, CEO of Kidsave. “We are also pleased that Lidiia Gaiduk has joined Kidsave’s Board of Trustees, bringing strong international experience to our membership.”
